A standard IMEI code usually consists of 14 decimal digits, and for the latest mobile phone usually, consists of 16 digits. IMEI's main goal is to facilitate the identification of mobile phones. In addition, IMEI can also be used to block the phone from accessing the mobile network. That way, if anyone stole your phone, then you can ask the provider to block the phone by sending the code. The police also usually identify cases of mobile theft based on IMEI mobile phone
